► FlightLog Analyzer

A Flight Analyzer and Viewer for MSFS 2020. Features:

► LittleNavmapOFMTheme

Now you can use open flightmaps VFR maps in Little Navmap for your VFR flight planning and navigation. This theme is already included as a stock theme.

► Little Navmap EFB Client

The Little Navmap EFB Client is a simple application designed to integrate Little Navmap with Microsoft Flight Simulator’s in-game Electronic Flight Bag (EFB). This in-progress add-on provides features such as centering of the aircraft, zooming in and out, and displaying flight plans.

► Little Navmap VR Panel

This panel works differently than some other solutions which in majority just display a static image with a map view together with information in a form of a tables exactly as returned by Little Navmap. Here the map is constructed from the tiles and is displayed continuously so it can be zoomed and dragged. Data from the tables is extracted so it can be displayed and manipulated in any context, basically allowing me to an entirely different app on top of it.

The most famous and powerful utility for flight simulators now integrated into your cabin. Using the Little Navmap web server with this new, optimized in-game dashboard for Flight Simulator, you’ll be able to track your flight like from the main app, with all the options.

If you think that many panels in the toolbar is a mess and you prefer to have everything better organized, this is the right plugin for you. Have a hyper-realistic tablet in the cockpit, just like the real thing.

You can switch between apps without missing anything by pressing the button on the tablet. When you return to the previous app, it will be where you left off.

► Mark Little Navmap airports as addons from the database of MSFS Addons Linker

Little Navmap is not able to mark the airport as an addon because the procedure of building the database of MSFS 2024 changed.

Therefore there is no indication in Little Navmap if an airport is an addon or not.

The utility uses the database of popular MSFS Addons Linker 2024 edition to read the airports and then mark them as addons in Little Navmap.

Software used to create Little Navmap

All used software is open source. Most used programs run on Windows, Linux and macOS.

► Qt

Qt is a cross-platform software for creating graphical user interfaces as well as cross-platform applications that run on various software and hardware platforms.

Qt is currently being developed by The Qt Company and the Qt Project under open-source governance, involving individual developers and organizations working to advance Qt. Qt is available under both commercial licenses and open-source licenses.

Little Navmap uses Qt extensively.

► Marble

Little Navmap uses the Marble widget component to display the background map which consists of map image tiles downloaded from OpenStreetMap and others.

► Kubuntu Linux

Kubuntu is an official flavor of the Ubuntu operating system that uses the KDE Plasma Desktop instead of the GNOME desktop environment. It is highly customizable. Almost all Little Navmap development is done on Kubuntu.

► Inno Setup

Inno Setup is a free installer for Windows programs by Jordan Russell and Martijn Laan. First introduced in 1997, Inno Setup today rivals and even surpasses many commercial installers in feature set and stability.

► Krita

Krita is a free and open source raster graphics editor designed primarily for digital art and 2D animation. It is as powerful as The Gimp but more intuitive to use.

► DBeaver

DBeaver is a powerful SQL client software application and a database administration tool used to work on Little Navmap’s scenery library database.

► Double Commander

Double Commander is a powerful free and open source multi-platform two-panel orthodox file manager that is inspired by the Microsoft Windows-only Total Commander. Available for Windows, Linux and macOS.

► Inkscape

Inkscape is a free and open source vector graphics editor for Linux, Windows and macOS.

► LibreOffice

LibreOffice is a free and open source office productivity software suite, a project of The Document Foundation (TDF). It can completely replace Microsoft Office.

► VirtualBox

VirtualBox is a powerful virtualization product for enterprise as well as home use. it is used to build and test Little Navmap on all supported platforms.

► Sphinx

Sphinx is a documentation generator written and used by the Python community. It is written in Python, and also used in other environments. The Little Navmap user manual is generated using this tool.
